Dr. Steve Harman is a life-long resident of the tri-state area graduating from KeyserHigh School in 1971. He attended Potomac State College and the OhioStateUniversity and received his veterinary degree in 1978. Upon completion of his degree, Dr. Harman and his family relocated back to Eckhart, MD where he began his veterinary career and founded HillsideAnimalHospital. He currently resides locally with his wife, Jean and dog Herbie.
Dr. Benjamin Harman, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Ben is a life-long resident of Western Maryland. He graduated from BeallHigh School in 1996 and proceeded to Potomac State College where he obtained an AA degree in Animal Science. From there, he traveled to OhioStateUniversity to attend 1 year of further undergraduate studies before he was accepted to the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Ben graduated from the VMRCVM in 2003 and has been employed with HillsideAnimalHospital since graduation. He currently resides in Frostburg with his wife Holly, son Cameron, daughter Madilyn, and furry family Ellie, Rosie, Violet, and Atticus.
Dr. Tom Vogtman, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Vogtman is a life long resident of Western Maryland graduating from BeallHigh School in 1996. He then attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he received his B.S. degree in Biology in 2000. Dr. Vogtman received his veterinary degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and has been practicing here at HillsideAnimalHospital since graduation. Dr. Vogtman lives locally with his wife Joan and his sons Kyle, Carl, and Colin.
